Changemaker Event

Changemaker Event

Join us for an opportunity to hear from our guest speaker Charlotte Grant

The Zahra Foundation, in partnership with Raiise present this Changemaker Event at Sanctuary Adelaide Zoo.

Join us on Friday, June 7th, at 6 pm for the opportunity to hear from local South Australian women and International Footballer playing for Matilda's & Tottenham Hotspur Charlotte Grant

Charlotte ‘Charli’ Grant is an Australian professional soccer player who currently plays as a defender for the Matildas and the WSL club Tottenham Hotspur in the UK.

As an athlete, I believe in using our platform to drive positive change beyond the field. I’m honored to stand with Zahra Foundation and join this important discussion around domestic abuse. The statistics are alarming and demand urgent attention and action. Let’s work together and use our voices to create safer communities! - Charlotte

Charlotte will be joined by a panel of business and sporting leaders, including Andrew Bills (CEO SA Power Networks) and Leah Cassidy (CEO Sport SA), Ross Wait (Director Raiise) and Arman Abrahimzadeh AOM (Zahra Foundation Founder and Domestic Violence advocate)

SA Power Networks is actively working towards an environment where all our employees feel safe and empowered. When we surveyed our employees last year, domestic violence was identified as a key societal issue which SA Power Networks people want to provide support for. Our partnership with Zahra Foundation is invaluable as a vehicle for corporate training and expert guidance on how we can achieve and contribute to real change. - Andrew

We can all be changemakers and sport is such a power medium for social change. That’s why I am so excited to be part of this incredibly important conversation. If each of us uses our voice for positive change, collectively we can make a real difference.- Leah

The Event will be MC'd by Alexis McKay
